Psyc 300 - DEMO

This course will review the nature, causes, treatment, and prevention psychological/ psychiatric disorders. In addition, it will examine how genetic, health and environmental variables can influence these disorders and how different psychological models explain these disorders. Further. the course will examine classification systems used within the  DSM IV-TR. Finally the interaction of mental health and society will be discussed.
