Changing your Password

Login to Support

There are a number of account passwords that can be changed at support.uidaho.edu. These include your myUIdaho account which gets you into Blackboard, UI computing Labs, and FrontPage.
 
Go to http://support.uidaho.edu/
 
Login with your myUIdaho account
(ex: Joe Vandal's myUIdaho account would be "vand1234")
 
Enter your current myUIdaho account password to get access to support. You can also enter your pin number used in VandalWeb (Banner)


Change Password

Select Change Passwords to change your account passwords.

Select Accounts

Select the accounts that you want to update the password on.

Enter a new password twice. Make sure to read the rules about what passwords are acceptable on this page.
 
Then press the Set New Password button.


Success

Make sure that you see a Success screen. If you don't go back and try again with a different password.
 
Once you're finished click Logout.
 
At this point you can wait a few minutes and then try logging in again.

Confirmation

You will also receive a confirmation e-mail sent to your UI e-mail account confirming this password change. This Email can be read using the Web based VandalMail system.
