RE:     Upgrade your Web Course — Move to Blackboard!

The University of Idaho is migrating from WebCT to the Blackboard course management system which includes many new and improved features. This is essentially an upgrade to the current version of WebCT.

This fall, we are asking current WebCT users to focus on their SPRING and SUMMER classes—moving them to Blackboard.

Come learn more and watch a demonstration of key Blackboard features. Find out how to start using Blackboard now and teach with it this spring. Faculty currently teaching with Blackboard will share their experiences during the session. Refreshments will be served.

Attend a 90 minute general information Blackboard session:

• Monday September 24th 1:00 pm - Commons Clearwater
• Tuesday October 30th 1:00 pm - Commons Clearwater
• Thursday November 29th 1:00 pm - Commons Clearwater

Register for an in-depth orientation in a small group setting:

For those not in the Moscow area, or for colleges or departments wanting an orientation to Blackboard as part of a faculty meeting, please email David Schlater to make arrangements.
