How the CTI Can Help
The CTI currently assists faculty teaching fully online classes at no charge on a first come first serve basis, several months prior to the course offer date. Our goal is to help you to be self sufficient with a variety of educational technologies, and provide a lab setting for you to work and learn in.
We also assist faculty and staff on departmental and course projects requiring multimedia production (Web, Flash, PowerPoint, etc.) at an hourly rate of $50/hr. We help you save time by taking in your content and ideas, and provide you back a finished product. As part of our chargeback service, we have updated departmental and center Web sites and created individual professional Web sites such as these:
Hourly work is billed the second week of each month for the prior month's work and charged to the UI budget number of your choice. We recommend certain specialize services be completed by those on campus who are experts in their fields such as Video Production or Graphic Design.
