Known Issue

The following error may occur when clicking on documents in Blackboard:

Generic Exception-Invalid permissions to execute action. com.webct.platform.tools.page.command.GetPageCommand VistaRequestImpl[deliveryContextId:0, currentLCId:5116001, urwPathParameters:null, VistaSession:ID:abcd1234]

Solutions

Setup your Computer for Blackboard
Open Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Internet Options -> Content tab and Disable under Content Advisor if it's on.
Instructors: Click on the document ActionLinks and select Customize Link, set the document to Launch in a New Window.
