Overview

Since most instructors have a print version of their syllabus, it is recommended that you upload the syllabus to your course as a PDF file. This is generally easier then dealing with the built-in syllabus tool. The Syllabus tool allows an instructor to use their own electronic file or to use the built in simple syllabus functions.

PDF Creation Tutorial is available for installing the free Microsoft Office 2007 PDF plug-in. The tutorial also references other free and pay-for PDF solutions.

For help adding the Assessment tool to your course, see Adding a New Tool.
