Post Grades to Vandal Web

Overview Currently, there is not an automated way to copy grades from Blackboard to Vandal Web. The tutorial below shows the process of entering the Blackboard grades manually one by one into Vandal Web http://vandalweb.uidaho.edu. TIP At the end of the semester, backup your course & grade book. See the Backup & Reset tutorial for assistance.

Under the Teach Tab, click on Grade Book Scroll over to the Midterm or Final Grade column you want to record in Vandal Web Open a second web browser window and go to http://vandalweb.uidaho.edu/ Rearrange the Blackboard and Vandal Web windows so that you can view both side by side Login to Vandal Web Once you've logged in, click on the Faculty & Advisor Menu Select the Grades Menu Select the option to enter Midterm or Final Grades Select the Term (semester) you're entering grades for Select the CRN (course registration number) that you'd like to enter grades for Use the Grade pull down to enter each student's grade (reference the Blackboard window) Press the Submit button when finished RECOMMENDATION The Vandal Web application times-out after 45 minutes. So be sure to press the Submit button at the bottom of the page frequently during your data entry process to prevent loss of data.
