Paging Preferences

Overview

There are many screens within Blackboard that show lists of data. For example, the Grade Book shows the rows for your students, and their grades. The assignment and assessment tools show a row for each activity listed. You have some flexibility in how you view this information. By default, the paging number is set to 10. Many people find it more convenient to increase this number.

TIP: Permanently increase the default number of items displayed per screen by modifying your global Bb's Paging Preference. The global Bb's Paging Preference setting is used by all Blackboard tools EXCEPT the Grade Book tool. The Grade Book tool's paging preference setting is changed by following the instructions below while in the Grade Book tool.

  • From the Grade Book, select the Grade Book Options button
  • Press Unfreeze Columns to turn the feature off
  • Press Freeze Columns to turn the feature back on.
